ProLoco Deiva Marina
Three hundred and sixty-five sunsets: one a day, summer and winter. At the end of the day, after sunbathing and salt baths or walking in the green, our beach, wide and open towards the horizon, becomes a privileged place to observe the evening of Liguria that “rises up from the sea”, slow and rosy, as in the celebrated verses of the poet Cardarelli. Before sunset, Deiva Marina and its territory offer all the attractions of the “other” Liguria, the secluded and wild, made of green slopes that dive into the sea and small semi-hidden bays, an almost unexpected gift for the traveler who knows how to look . A vast network of paths, heritage of the ancient salt routes that allowed goods to be transported from the coast to the inland resorts and today a paradise for trekking enthusiasts, climbs through the Mediterranean scrub without losing sight of the sea. The winding streets of the immediate hinterland are a joy for motorcyclists and mountain bikers. The historical center, characteristic with its Genoese style painted facades and its narrow alleys populated with cats, is an oasis of coolness and an opportunity to isolate itself from the crowd rediscovering the pleasure of living slowly.
