Since 1972 FISAR, Italian Sommelier Federation Hoteliers and Restaurateurs, has become the authoritative and autonomous voice of the Italian wine industry. It offers its members a complete training course as well as events, both national and local that cover all aspects of the wine world. FISAR takes its members on a journey, from production to tasting and finally assorting food pairings with the wines.
FISAR operates around the country of Italy through a vast network of private sectors, and today it gathers more than ten thousand members all over Italy, with that number constantly increasing.
